Vulcain Watches
The Presidents' Watch — inventor of the alarm complication for wristwatches

The Challenge
Vulcain is a storied Swiss watch manufacture founded in 1858 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, and the inventor of the alarm complication for wristwatches — a horological milestone achieved with the launch of the iconic Cricket in 1947, whose distinctively strident alarm sound became a signature of the brand. Vulcain earned the unofficial title of "The Presidents' Watch," having been worn by a long line of US heads of state including Dwight Eisenhower, Lyndon Johnson, and Barack Obama, cementing its place in watchmaking history. Today, operating from Le Locle following a revival in the early 2000s, the brand offers a range of collections — from its signature Cricket alarm watches to divers, chronographs, and nautical-inspired pieces — that balance deep heritage with accessible luxury pricing, appealing to collectors who value mechanical ingenuity and a genuinely singular place in the history of Swiss watchmaking.
Our Approach
In addition to presenting Vulcain at successive Couture Shows in Las Vegas, we were instrumental in having the brand referenced in several high end retailers across the United States, Hollywood movie placements, as well as cruise ships operating out of Fort Lauderdale in the Caribbean.
The Story We Told
Few watch brands can claim to have graced the wrists of American presidents for decades. Vulcain's Cricket is not just a timepiece — it is a piece of presidential history. By placing the brand in high-end retail, Hollywood productions, and luxury cruise environments, we ensured that Vulcain's heritage resonated with a new generation of American collectors.
